Dancehall sensations Dexta Daps, Teejay, and Ding Dong are set to share the stage with R&B icon Chris Brown as he makes his highly-anticipated return to Jamaica for his Under The Influence extravaganza, marking his first performance on the island in a decade. The electrifying event will unfold at Kingston's National Stadium, with an additional treat for the crowd as singer Sean Kingston is also lined up to join the 'Loyal' maestro during the concert scheduled for August 27.
Ryan Burke, the visionary founder, and CEO of The Vew Empire, announced Chris Brown's forthcoming Jamaica show at the launch of the BZR Weekend held at Kingston's AC Hotel on Friday morning. Burke conveyed Brown's genuine enthusiasm for the upcoming show, highlighting its special significance within the artist's tour schedule.
Originating in Miami, Florida, the Jamaican edition of BZR Weekend is a collaborative effort between Solid Agency, Burke Bodley, VEW Live, LLC + PLXYBOY, and Jay Upscale. This distinctive weekend boasts a diverse range of events that cater to various tastes and preferences.
What to Expect: The weekend festivities commence with the exclusive Haute Monde Jamaica event on August 25, taking place at the AC Hotel at 7 pm. Following this, the Memba Dis! Ultimate Ol’ Skool Party will entertain attendees from 11 pm to 3 am at Hope Gardens on the same evening.
The revelry continues with the Paradise Brunch Party on August 26, offering a delightful experience from noon to 4 pm at Morgan's Harbour. Later that day, Indigo at Hope Gardens will come alive with the Indigo event, commencing at 8 pm.
The climax of the weekend will be the highly anticipated Chris Brown and Friends Under the Influence concert on August 27 at the National Stadium, starting at 4 pm. This grand spectacle is expected to draw a massive crowd, with approximately 45,000 patrons eagerly anticipated to attend the various events comprising the BZR Weekend extravaganza.
