Tragic Loss: Father of Dancehall Star Topmann Perishes in St. James Bus Crash

Father of dancehall artist 'Topmann' dies in tragic bus crash. On Thursday, October 6, the 50-year-old recording artist Dillon Hines, affectionately called "Iyah-Syte," was among seven others traveling along Long Hill main road when the bus crashed 500 feet into a gully.

It is reported that due to bad weather conditions, rescue operations by first responders were impeded. Other travelers, including students, were injured during the crash and are undergoing treatment. 'Topmann' is a fast-rising dancehall artist known for his hit songs 'Gyal Code' and 'Cash Ready.' The artist, on many occasions, had expressed in interviews that his father was one of his main inspirations for his passion and drive in his music and career.
